- use 3, 5, 7, 9 cards in row. In all of it the one card always central. This card is point of entry to reading. It's priority and connection for left and right cards from her. You always have 3 cards at left and right then 5 or 7, 9 at row. You have start and finish micro spred at row. More then 9 cards at row do not need anymore.
- Explore card combinations from 2 to 3. Any informations about combinations must be compared for essential of how actualy create interpretation metod to reading combination. Goal is read combination meaning at realtime, at moment of reading. Memorise lot of combinations- boring and not effective.
- How many rows you nead? As many as you have cards in your deck! Ha-ha. Actualy any row has an appointment and task. Two rows which is obvious and which hapents is hiden. It's starting of columns of layers. Each row layer is part of the whole. Fore example - top is beter and lowest is worse. If you have 5 rows, central- is normal as consuetal. I not use more than 5 rows, but it's posible.
- You can read diagonal sequence of cards, or even vertical as in chess. If I see chevalier, I look thery can jump as chess horse. Ha!
- Not nesessary to read all of this giant spred. You must search for points of voltage. It's major arcanas or significators. Thery is signifer placed? near to finish or start? In lower layer or top? Thats cards around? If it move to front with diagonal, is what card as oportunities or obstackes? Watch to spread as coordinate system with cards matrixes.
- Some spreads have notified meaning of position thery is card placed. Fore example, "House of Tarot" thery 3 rows with 7 cards and one for key card. It's Le Mat and all Tarot major arcanas as positionns of each cards. For another example is "Astrology" spread. It's have 12 places of zodiacal homes as meaning of positions. Card positioning as clock ring and can be 3-4 rings and key card in center for evry ring. Actualy is rows collapsing as ring and rows meaning present, past, posible future and other things as "what world present for me at any zodiac house?". Some spetial spreads as "Gypsy Cross" is looks like some mandala and have meaning for direction groups and each card in group. This is not typical for traditional Tarot, but very interesting. Do not look at books of spreads. It's only for beginers and give a misconceptions what is possible and what is not. Look at metodology of creation new spreads and experiment with it.
- You can start from 3 cards and branch from incomprehensible card with string of couple cards to understandable point (major arcan). Major arcans is branched points of meaning interpretations and situation vectors.
- Do not abuse the number of cards. For domestic issues enough 3 - 5 cards. For complex, global, important issues, you can use big preads, with many rows to comprehensively consider the situation and ways out of it. Big spreads is require a lot of time and deep immersion. It is a type of spiritual practice. Use this appropriately and appropriately. It takes your life energy and motivation. I make big spreads very rarely and carefully. You have to make a big spiritual sppread to someone at least once a year.
